[1] Brynestyn near Wrexham.
31
st Oct: 1841.
Sir.
I have the honour of enclosing the
Account of Koonawur by the late Capt Alex: Gerard, which I hope you will do me the favour of presenting to the Library of the University at Bonn as the sequel of Major Sir W. Lloyd’s & Capt Alex: Gerard’s Narratives, which I had the pleasure of forwarding to you last year.
I have enclosed it to the care
[2] of His Excellency the Prussian Ambassador as your were kind enough to direct me and I trust that it will reach you in safety.
I hope that the University at which I spent several of the happiest years of my life is still instructed by the great men which it was when I was there and that it may ever be so highly favoured is my sincerest wish.
I have the Honour to be
Sir
Your Ob. humble Servant
GLloyd
An dem Herrn
