As I think it will interest you I gladly seize an opportunity which presents itself of sending it to you. It will always give the pleasure to take advantage of any occasion by which I may bring myself to your recollection. I often regretted that my line of study did not lead me to profit by a more frequent intercourse with you during my stay at </hi><placeName key="887"><hi rend="family:Courier">Bonn</hi></placeName><hi rend="family:Courier">. <lb/>Captain Burnes is a young and enterprizing man, from whom much may be yet expected. My wish to go on with it is in no way abated, and I have met with encouragement both from <persName key="2565">Sir Alexander Johnston</persName> and from </hi><persName key="2574"><hi rend="family:Courier">D</hi><hi rend="family:Courier;offset:4">r</hi><hi rend="family:Courier"> Rosen</hi></persName><hi rend="family:Courier">. The book supposed to be reviewed is called </hi><name key="12904" type="work"><hi rend="family:Courier">„Bubbles from the Brunnen“</hi></name><hi rend="family:Courier"> It is still in MS. The book is by </hi><persName key="12901"><hi rend="family:Courier">Sir Francis Head</hi></persName><hi rend="family:Courier">, who wrote </hi><name key="12902" type="work"><hi rend="family:Courier">a clever account of his travels in South America</hi></name><hi rend="family:Courier">, and the reviewer Lockhart, the Editor, was last summer at </hi><placeName key="3846"><hi rend="family:Courier">Ems</hi></placeName><hi rend="family:Courier"> &amp; </hi><placeName key="2492"><hi rend="family:Courier">Schwalbach</hi></placeName><hi rend="family:Courier">. <lb/>D</hi><hi rend="family:Courier;offset:4">r</hi><hi rend="family:Courier"> Rosen has been in London about a month. He was not nearer Bonn than <placeName key="992">Düsseldorf</placeName> on his way back from <placeName key="8220">Detmold</placeName>.
