[1] Temple. Saturday.
My dear Sir
I have the honour to send you a copy of the
Athenæum in which you will find a short notice of yourself. I arrived yesterday just in time to insert it which must account for its brevity.
With your permission I will write
a short anzeige of your [2] admirable Essay for one of the Reviews that are to appear on the first of April. This will have the effect of attracting public attention to your opinions, whether the publishers venture on the publication or no. Will you have the goodness to write a line to say whether this would be in accordance with your wishes.
[3] I have the honour to remain, with the highest admiration and respect,
Yours most faithfully
A. Hayward
