Dear Sir,
I much regret that I have been unable to profit by your residence here, further than to make one call at your door; and that I was not at this office when You did me the honor to return my visit.
If you should be happily disengaged on Saturday next, may we hope to have the gratification of Seeing you at our House, Battersea Rise, Clapham Common;
to dinner at ½ past 6 o’clock on that day? - You will have the Kindness to address your answer to me here.
I have the honor to be, Dear Sir,
Your faithful
humble Servant
