My Decision would much depend on the most worthy Information which I should receive about Time Expense & Fatigue, My Party might consist only of Ly M & my Daughter – or it might contain 2 perhaps 3 more – in both Cases 1 male probably 1 female servant such Estimates of Expense as you can form on probable Conjecture for economical English Travellers would be very acceptable – From the first Point in Switz whether Basle or [4] Schaffhausen where Water Conveyance must end My Health wd require slow Journies not exceeding 25 English Miles a day which is I suppose about the Rate of a Voiturier: A speedy Answer will much increase the Value of the Information.
