    This replaces the version [Version-04-20]. Numerous new transcriptions are published
  • This version [Version-04-20] is from 01.04.2020.
    This replaces the version [Version-01-20]. From now on, Schlegel’s correspondence with Alexander von Humboldt as well as his correspondence with university curator Philipp Joseph von Rehfues are completely published. In addition, assumed correspondents are marked as such. All printed full texts have been provided with page numbers that refer to the manuscript pages (if a manuscript exists) to make it easier for users to compare the print to the original.
  • This version [Version-01-20] is from 15.01.2020.
    This replaces the version [Version-10-19]. From now on, there is an additional keyword cloud on the welcome page, which shows the most common nouns in the full texts. Proper names and inflectional forms are not included.
  • This version [Version-10-19] is from 15.10.2019.
    This replaces the version [Version-07-19]. From now on, a pdf of each letter (with full text, metadata, index and editorial notes) can be downloaded. Furthermore, the metadata now also show the languages in which the letter is written.
  • This version [Version-07-19] is from 01.07.2019.
    This replaces the beta version.
  • This version [Beta] is from 12.04.2019.
    The beta version, first published on June 2, 2014 (last update: April 12, 2019), was initially released with 4650 original letters, containing nearly the entirety of the 2700 previously printed letters. 1732 of those letters are provided with a detailed registry, 1500 transcribed letters and 703 short biographies of the correspondence partners. The release of a complete registry whose entries, in part, have yet to be fully edited was provided with the update of January 15, 2018. In addition, the TEI-XML data of the letters has been viewable since. Every three months, a new version is published. The beta version was replaced on July 1, 2019 by the [Version-07-19].
