I had been informed that you had prepared some additions to your Essay on Dramatic Art & Literature, in case a new edition should be called for. As I formerly intimated to you, we would be very ready to put to press a second edition, if any additions or alterations likely to attract the public attention should be made to it; but without some such stimulus we should be rather apprehensive of the adventure.
