[1] Dear and much esteemed Sir,
Pray do not believe me ungrateful, that I have not written to you before this, but the reason was, I have been waiting for
the Catalogue, which is now quite finished, and I thank you, dear Sir, from the bottom of my heart, for the Preface, you have been so good to write for it.
Mr Black according to your request, has also been kind enough to translate the Preface, and has written a very handsome Article, in the Morning Chronicle newspaper, of which he is the Editor.
I have, this day, forwarded to you thru the house of
Mr Frank, Bookseller at Brussels, One Catalogue and Twelve Prefaces, with orders to him to forward them to you immediately, which I hope he will not fail to do. The good Mr Lassen left my house, for Paris, on the 11th of this month, I have also dear Sir, to return you many thanks for your kind interfereance in my behalf with the [2] Bonn Library, as thru your means, I received on January last, £ 100-. I have now then dear Sir, only to add, that the benefits you have conferred on me, shall always be gratefully remembered, by
Dear Sir
Your thankful
and greatly obliged
Sarah
