[1] E. I House
10 Aug 1840
My Dear Sir.
I have thought it not unlikely that you would be pleased – if it should be convenient to you – to see
the Revd Mr Malan as he passes through Bonn & therefore give him this introduction to you – He was one of my Sanscrit pupils at Oxford but is now Professor in Bishops College Calcutta although seeking renovated health and strength of Europe – He purposes to return to India & will be happy to tell our countrymen there that he [2] has seen a scholar so highly esteemed by them as A. W. von Schlegel.
I am Dear Sir.
Yours very truly
HHWilson
